A year ago Sunday I had the most amazing experience of my entire life. I jumped, or rather was gently pushed, out of a plane at approximately 12,000 feet. Thankfully I had someone strapped to me who had a parachute big enough for 2. I spent an extra $100 to have a videographer go with me and record the event onto DVD and it was clearly the best money ever spent. Being able to re-watch that day brings the feelings back as if it were yesterday. The soundtrack to my jump is “It’s a Beautiful Day” by U2 and if I’m ever feeling particularly down I watch that DVD and am instantly pulled out of my funk.

Genius! (um... but I don't have the guts to do that sort of thing). Hoping to make Eric and Phil's party but we have an Outfest screening at that same time. If their loft-y event goes late, then we'll stop by later. Thanks for checking out my blog. You're aces! --Rick
