I’ve posted about this before but let me reiterate how much I love driving on the 134 WEST at night – windows down, listening to bad 80’s music. Specifically “Only Time Will Tell,” which sounds suspiciously like “Heat of the Moment.” I guess you can plagiarize you own work, huh? Then all of a sudden you wake up from your little daydream and you realize you’re smelling exhaust fumes from a gross polluter on the 5 North.
Such is life in Southern California.

I've driven that same two-lane highway after dark, sans windows and cranking the New Wave classics, although Billy Idol may have been my soundtrack instead of Asia. It is an awesome twisting turning drive with potential to die spectacularly in a head-on collision with drunk kids from Laguna Beach.
From such humble beginnings reading Franklin Avenue you've really created a kick ass blog, Sha. Keep sharing your adventures with the rest of the class. You're a terrific writer.
