First of all, it’s March....and a beautiful, temperate evening. Second, the smell of jasmine is in the air and oh do I love that smell. It takes me back to my early days in LA when it was a newfound aromatic pleasure. Sweet, fragrant but not overpowering, fresh. And finally, the realization that this town is essentially a citified suburbia. Densely packed neighborhoods, a myriad of streets forming a N/S/E/W pattern (except near Downtown), the sound of traffic speeding along semi-residential major thoroughfares and helichopters in the distance...and that damn smell of jasmine bringing it all home.
If ever I felt like I really belong in a city, it’s this one. Especially on nights like this.

These are 3 good reasons.
My three:
the diversity
the sprawl
the creativity
(in no particular order)
